While clicking a picture my kodak digital camera fell on the floor and since then the camera is on with no connection at all it was on zoom and the zoom hit the ground

We need to gather a list and go to Kodak to request a refund or recall on these cameras. Notice the list of these cameras not working from the same problem (not charging).

Try cleaning the contacts from the battery and the battery compartment of the camera. I had the same problem and this fixed it, it seems to be a common problem.

I had the same exact problem. When the camera turns on and then lens extends, hold the lens out while the camera shuts off. Then sort of move it around a bit. I did this and when I turned it on, it was fixed. I guess something was jammed in the lens.

Turn camera ON lens will come ON
Press Menu scroll far right,
Keep scrolling down untill you get to Time and date.
Press Zoom and read help menu.
Set time and date and functions.
