The one I had earlier used was bought from Belgium. Did well for more than 10 years. This one though showed Made in Italy, its quality lacked and later I was convinced that this was made in China including the Made in Italy Label and sold in Saudi Arabia at very high price. The machine was phut in two years time and needed major replacements. I would never suggest Whirlpoll to anyone. The lacuna of front loading machine is the shaft and connecting balancing rods break after sometime. Unfortunately no engineer has thought to fit stainless still bars in stead of filthy cheap ones fitted and sold. This would have lasted at least 10 years without any major repairs.

check that the machine ramps up to spin speed reasonably and distributes the clothes- ie doesn't spring straight up to spin speed. if this is ok then the fault may well be the shock absorbers located at the bottom of the machine and going from base to tub. check also that the counterweights are intact

have you tride unpluging it for 5 min. and see if if it will come back on sometimes this works as far as a rest its prob behind near or on moter it should be a red button check and see if fanbelt has not broken or slipped

ok corvett your there you just jumped one step..put the motor back and put the 2 motor clips back on,,,ok,,,,now you need to hold the belt side with a tool a grip pliers,,a wrectet head with handle turn which ever tool handle so it will hit the side of the cabnit the right side looking from front,,now wedge that tool..be careful go behind ,,put on worh gloves a must the side of blower wheel housing are sharp..caution got your gloves on,,now turn it to the left not the right,,counter clock wise..onthejob
