Hello, I have an ASUS KBV-MX motherboard. Suddenly from the last few weeks i am not getting any display. When i start the system, it will go through till the windows log and then suddenly it gives an Bluescreen. If i tried to load the OS, it gives an error as NO HDD found. But in BIOS i can see the SATA drive. Its not the problem with the HDD as that Hardisk works fine in the other computer. Please help Mahesh

Replace your power supply unit with a better wattage rate. BSOD is sometimes cause by an intermittent power supply.

Good luck!

I have a KBV-MX motherboard and need to know if the 512MB Kingston memory (KVR400X64C) will be compatible.

Yes Kingston Kvr400x64c 512 MB will be compatible with your motherboard. The Ram form factor and speed supported by your motherboard are PC3200, PC2700, DDR266/PC2100 and DDR400/ 333/ 266, ECC, (non-ECC and ECC).
And the Kingston kvr400x64c 512MB is DDR 333 Non-ECC.

Hope this clears your doubts.

K8V-MX SATA and XP instal problem

According to the title here I have found a link for information on the motherboard you listed. If can be found here:

http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us

Here it has the drivers and also a link for the manual. I would suggest downloading the files to another computer and burning CD to use on the other system.

Thanks

K8V-MX SATA and XP instal problem

enter the bios and disable raid function, there is no specific SATA drivers unless you work with xp SP1.
In the following link you can read the user's manual : http://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/sock754/K8V-MX/E2335_K8V-MX_h.pdf
