I can't remember my log on passwaord for logging on ...I tried new admin password and reset pasword but when it loads up it goes right back to my name and asks me for my password ...I think my little brat Brother changed my password because he thinks the whole thing is real funny...please help I don't to kill the kid... stuck Big Brother :(

To reset the administrator pasword enter feature 985 press 9, at the password prompt enter 73738767793 (resetsmpwsd) and press ok or #,press yes to reset password. password should be defaulted to 0000. then try Feature 983. if your system has 3 digit intercom #s your password is 1020000.

Hello,
If you forget your Windows password or if your password expires, you must reset your password before you can log on to your computer

. This article contains two methods that you can try to reset your password so that you can log on to your computer

again. These steps only work if you have previously created a password reset disk for the computer, or if you can log on as an administrator to assign a new password to your account.

If you do not have a reset disk or cannot log on as an administrator, unfortunately, you may have to reinstall Windows XP and all other programs that were installed on the computer before you can use the computer again. This is for security. Without these safeguards, anyone could reset a password to anyone else's computer and gain access to private information.
In XP

their are two ways to change the password.
1st method - Restart the system and when you see the computer manufacturer's name Dell or HP or any other start tapping the F8 button 5 to 8 times. A menu will come. Choose the safe mode option and then press enter on the next screen on selection of the os. Your computer will now show u a new account by the name of administrator. If you had an admin password then u won't be able to get in here either. But most people dont have this so log in to this account and go to the control panel and you will be able to remove the password for your own account. Restart system and you are good to go.

you have to log-in as the admin and reset that password.
If you were already logged in as the admin and you lost the admin password you have to find a way to crack it or format the hard drive

How to change password for d link router if i have forgotten my password

Hello there..

If you forgot your password you need to reset the router, just remember that you need to reconfigure the router from scratch if you do reset it.

Here is how you reset the router:

. Turn off the router 2. Locate the Reset button on the back of the router.
3. Use a paper clip to press the Reset button and power on.
4. Hold for about 5 seconds (don’t hold too long) and then release. (Or, release when M1 and M2 flash at the same time.)
5. After you have completed the above steps, the router will be reset to the factory default settings

Now you just need to log on to the router using the default admin password and username(Usually username:Admin Pasword:Admin ) and reconfigure the router and set new password.

Ihave a linksys wrt54gl v 1.1 wireless modem, reinstalled xp and now cant remember my password. Is there anyway I can bypass or reset the pasword.

In the back of the unit is a button labeled RST. It makes router go back to factory settings. If you haven't the manual, don't attempt to do so, because it still haves the original password when resetted.

try logging in with the built in admin account

user: admin
password: leave it blank or try password

if that works go to the control panel/users and reset his password there, log off the admin then youll be able to log back into your sons account

let me know, might have to run a tool to remove his password

Try to log in if there is any other admin account and try to can the password for the current account which is locked up.... from control pannel.... or Perform System recovery and take back the computer to factry setting... but looses all the data

Windows Password Recovery is right what you need in your case. The program is designed to reset Windows login password once you accidentally forgot it or have no access to your system. By burning a bootable CD, you can enter almost any computer with Windows administrator login password protected within a few seconds. Here are the step by step tutorial, pretty easy!

Step 1: Download Windows Password Recovery and install it on another computer.
Step 2: Prepare a blank CD/USB and run the software and use it to burn the ISO file to it.
Step 3: Put it into the CD-ROm and restart your locked computer. Change the BIOS setting of your locked computer to make it boot from the CD-ROM or USB drive (Start computer and press F2 or Delete to enter BISO setup)
Step 4: Boot your locked computer from the created disk and remove your forgotten password.

All you can do is Google "windows password bypass"
should be some help there, depending on your OS.
You can download a bootable iso file to make a disk, this will find all your passwords. I have never done this , so dont know how well it works

Em...is there another available admin password in your laptop? If it is, you can reset admin password like this:
Just log on your PC->Click "Start"button->Control Panel->Add or remove user account->Select the account you want to reset->Change or Remove the password. Then the password will be reset.

Otherwise, you can use a windows password recovery tool to recover the forgotten password. I think Windows Password Unlocker will help work. Have a try with these two method.
