Go to the above website and type in 12211 for your model number and 1 for your serial number. You will be able to download a free copy.

The older models do not have an actual model number but only a name to distinguish the size. Early production models include the Horse, Pony and Junior. You must find the location of the serial number tag to order parts that will fit your particular rototiller for seamless replacement of parts. Hope this will help

That's the engine number. It's a 6Hp Tecumseh. Go on ebay and buy the Troy Bilt parts manuals on CD for Horse Roto Tillers (if that's what it's on). I paid $8. Definitely worth it.

if you have a B&S engine look at the frist two numbers on the code. thats the year of the engine and more likelyof your unit, As long as the motor has'nt been replaced. I'll checked on your serial number did'nt find a model. If this is an old troy built I'll have to call tech support. also I need to know what engine 4, 4.5, 6, 7, 8, hr power, and the name of the teller. MTD now owens troy built.

From what I read you need a new rewind clutch and the spring and cord go into the housing. Briggs is easy to fix. contact me at [email protected] and I can send you what you need or you can send it to me and I will repair it very cheap!! Parts are available at almost any small engine parts place.

You may be able to pick them up at a local shop or they at least can order them for you. You do need part numbers, but to get that, yoou need the model number of the tiller. Post that here and I can give you the part numbers. It will be located on the body of the tiller on a tag that says Model and Serial number.

Get the model # and serial # off of the sticker. Got to the Troy Bilt site and use the owners manual link. Need to leave off the last 3 numbers of the model #.

If that site does not have the manual, I've found them on the MTD site. I enter only the first 2 numbers of the model # and then hunt for my manual from the list.

If all else fails, you can call Troy Bilt at their # provided on the site.
