The charge adapter maybe faulty. If your cell phone is a few months old, then it would be still under warranty. Take it back to the place where you purchased it and have it repaired or replaced under warranty.
Does it NEED a charge? The camera can get screwed up. It has to turn ON to charge. For the most reliable charge do NOT use the computer. I use my computer to 'top off' the batteries. If they are really dead I use wall charger.
This is most likely to happen not when something is spilled upon it but when something hard happens to hit the screen or it is pressed against something hard for a while. This is bound to cause a malfunction in the internal screen which is touch sensitive and responds to your touches. If this is the case, you must see a repairer quickly before it becomes worse. As for the price, that depends on the repairer and your area. But generally, it is not very expensive to replace the screen. Hope this helped?
Sounds like your battery has died.
You have three options:
If your iPod is less than a year old, go to the Apple Store and they should be able to replace your iPod for free on the spot!
If your iPod is older than a year, you can pay Apple a fee to get it fixed
If you are looking to get a new iPod anyway, bring your old iPod with you to the Apple Store and you will get 10%off when you buy a new one! (Mention that you have your old iPod with you!)
i was trying to help you last night and i guess we got disconnected and didnt know if you got a chance to try what i suggested.
if neither of those suggestions worked, there are a few things you can do.
you can buy another digitizer and try and install it your self if your comfortable doing that..they cost right around a 100.00 not including shipping.
you can send it to a repair center, but they will charge about 125.00
i would recommend sending it to garmin and here is why. they normally wont even try and fix your unit, they normally just ship out a refurbished one that already been updated and they only charge a flat fee of 125.00 no matter what problem it had.
i have had nothing but good luck with there repair program.
the digitizer (touch screen) is a very intricate part to replace because of the way its mounted over the lcd and the very tiny ribbon cable that attaches to the lcd screen.
I tried the 2 solutions i was given but it still didn't fix the problem, I ended up calling logitech tech support and they advised me to install the software and download new programs for the remote, after about 1/2 hour and recalibrating the complete software/ firmware the problem was fixed.
Can I ask if you have the following issues:
- Power button will not lock screen
- When resetting the phone you see the apple logo for a few seconds then it resets again and goes into a loop
- iPhone will turn boot when connected to a computer
- when it boots up, the slide to power off screen appears
- no amount of restoring fixes the issue
If so, then your issue is the power button is sticking. I fixed this last night by opening up the iPhone and cleaning out the Power button.
