I have a sony dcr trv19 handy cam.
i lot the s/w cd and now am unable to transfer the video from mini dv to pc.
by using windows moviemaker i am able to tranfer only video but not audio. wt should i do??
wish u will get a solution for this
I'm working out the same problem! From the looks of things, it can be done with the i.LINK cable (which is optional, of course). I've got Vista on my new computer, which is incompatible with Sony's USB driver anyway, but it looks like I can transfer video successfully using an i.LINK cable and Microsoft® Windows Movie Maker (came with Vista). I just need to find the cable I need, as it's "optional" and didn't come with my camcorder. BTW, here's where I found my info: http://www.kb.sony.com/selfservice/documentLink.do?externalId=C111893

Follow the link and carefully read the download and install instructionsafter selecting the 32 bit tab. I have successfully installed on my Vista Home Premium 32 bit OS
They cross-referenced it and found that the DCR-TRV19 camera used the same driver as the DCR-TRV280. I took the download off Sonys website and it worked perfectly.
