Hi,
Many toshibas have the facility to turn the mouse/trackpad on or off. I have seen it on the upper keys in blue text, meaning you need to hold the fn (Function) key down at the same time as the mouse enable/disable key.

On a Toshiba Laptop C70-A Series , lost my arrow and some keys dont work. How can I get my mouse back, so I can do a backup ?

Depending on your laptop settings start by doing a FULL shutdown. After rebooting hopefully the mouse (assume you mean a touchpad) will be restored; and maybe the keys not working. If unsuccessful connect a USB mouse and USB keyboard and check settings of the touchpad and also select the default language keyboard. If still unsuccessful try reinstalling touchpad drivers. Consider a possibility of some problem or damage to the keypad and/or touchpad if this all happened recently and the above doesn't correct.

Need to download pictures from my email into a thumb drive

OK, if you don't have too many file attachments, it can be a simple drag and drop with the touchpad or wireless mouse.

Hope this helps.

Mouse pad stopped working on actual laptop but will work when using wireless mouse.

Try uninstalling the touchpad driver from the Device Manager, restart the Computer and reinstall the Touuchpad driver after connecting a wireless mouse.
If the issue persists then this indicates that the issue is with the Touchpad sensor and requires to get the Touchpad serviced.

The touchpad mouse on my toshiba salellite does not function even though it shows it working properly when you go into the touchpad icon. I have an external wireless mouse (usb) hooked up that works fine...

The touchpad is most probably defective. If you have dropped your laptop the touchpad cable could have get out from its connector on the mainboard. You can get a new touchpad/palmrest on ebay. You have to remove your touchpad/palmrest as shown in the link below, steps 17 to 19 :

http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Satellite-A105/remove-motherboard-1.htm

Identify the part number of your touchpad/palmrest. Search on ebay.com : Toshiba Satelitte A105 palmrest. Buy the one with the same part numer as yours.

...or have your laptop repaired by a professional.
