Ive loaded software for our YP-T7F mp3 player on our laptop which uses windows vista o/s. All ok except when we shut down the computer and start up again,we connect the mp3 with the usb cable. Usually this opens up samsung media studio but it does not open automatically. We then open manually but it does not recognize the mp3 device. We then have to reload the software again for the device to be recognized. Does anybody have a solution/suggestions ? Many thanks

Is there a save settings button in the software, or perhaps a save settings function in the menu or preferences? Look for something similar to "Save settings."

SOURCE: device drivers for samsung yp-t9jab/xac mp3 player

Since they didn't include a specific driver, then XP is supposed to download the driver automatically. Restart your computer and try replugging the player into the computer again. Use the instructions on p. 16 of the Samsung manual for installing the software, except skip the part where it says "from CD" - just use the software you grabbed from their site. If that fails, go to the Microsoft website, and get their mtp protocol software (only if you are running Windows Media Player 11). I would guarantee you that this problem is Microsoft's fault, and not Samsung's.

I WANT TO DOWNLOAD A VIDEO ON MY MP3 YP-T7F

i dont think you can download a video on your mp3 because mp3 are only for music, the application of video is different to mp3 or wav. If your using MP4 that would be really necessary can download a video format.

Samsung has a new version of Media Studio 5 available for download at its Web site. It isn't the exact model version, but seems to work.

it may have a reset button, sometimes a tiny little hole that you use a paper clip to push it with. but first check the manual or online for such a button.
