Install the driver of your PCI Sound Card. You need to set the settings of your sound card in control panel into 6 channel.

Check your sound card if is it connected properly or not. This problem also because of improper drivers or absence of drivers. Check your wiring connection also.

I have F&D home theatre.i have to connected it to my pc but it's not working

They probably said you must connect the sound card of your PC to the F&D home theatre.
PC----------------F&D------------F&D loudspeakers
Sound out------Sound in------PC sound out
The home theater just amplifies and distributes input sound to the speakers.

I have Dell theatre speaker set MMS5650 from a Dimension - is there a way to connect them my new Dell XPS8300 - seems to have different wiring configuration (nice to use the 5.1 surround speaker set...

Dear Friend,

If you have an input such as a mini jack, you probably can used this with any computer. If your Dimension have a special audio card, try to move it to the new computer and install it. You can also look for PCI Audio card that will meet your expectation, they usually come with 5.1 to 7.1 channel and even with fiber capabilities for high definition sound.

Good luck!

Sound

You will need drivers for your sound card. Go to Control Panel.....select Device Manager....find your sound card on the list.....Right click on it and select Properties........select drivers tab.......have windows look for drivers and install. You can also install your card in ADD/REMOVE HADRWARE in control panel. Have windows search for new hardware. When it finds your sound card follow prompts to install.

IM NOT ABLE HEAR SOUND FROM MY MECHINE SINCE DELETED AUDIO DEVICE

You need to re install audio card.

If this is a brand PC, or a laptop, look into the factory website, for example Dell, Packard bell, Acer, Sony, IBM, Toshiba etc.

If this is a no brand computer, and you do not have sound card, you can either try reading motherboard code inside the machine, and find drivers on motherboard website, or install a new sound card , that is not expensive.

If you cannot find the drivers, enter on google : "PCI sound adapter" or "USB external sound adapter", to find prices for a new sound card.
