Have A Uniden DECT2-1080 sytem with answering machine, but no manual on Uniden site. How do I change the number of rings before answering. It's currently 10, and I'd like to reduce the number of rings.

The TRU9466 isn't an answering machine. The number of rings is controlled by whatever answering machine or voicemail system you have on your phone line. Please refer to the documentation for the answering machine or voicemail system to change the ring count.

This is for a 5.8 GHz uniden. Hit "menu/clock" then use volume up and down key to select number of rings and then below "menu/clock" hit "set". That should it.
