Fast forward of Disk on my Go.Video2140

Did you try skipping ahead instead of fast forward .

Unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and replug it back after 20 minutes or so. Check it after.

Blu-Ray players are really a computer and they crash more than other; mine does this and I have to power cycle it to get it back running. very irritating but you can thank all that copyright "protection" software running on it..
You could have a funky disk; does it do it to all of your disks?

You don't, you just press the FORWARD button on remote during DVD playback to 'fast forward' (pressing this button a second time during playback increases forward scan speed). The forward and reverse buttons have 'SLOW/SEARCH' printed above them on the remote. The other buttons next to them are the PREV/NEXT buttons (SKIP/INDEX).

DVD playback speed/skip/search is mostly a manual user function; it cannot be auto set.

After searching the best known region hack databases I have found one process for your make and model. I can not assure you that it will work 100% but it's the only known process.

Turn on the Player with no disc on the tray. The tv screen and the dvd lcd will display "No Disk"

2. Press the "Repeat" key on the Samsung remote control

3. Press the keys: "5 7 5 3 8" on the remote. Number 2 appears on the screen for a short time.

4. Press "9". Number 9 is displayed on the screen.

5. Press the "Open/close" button in the remote. The tray will open. Leave it open for a few seconds.

6. Just press the "On/off" button in the remote.

7. You now have a multi-region dvd player!!

The codes that I have are for the LVW-1101 ( and possibly 1105). The remote responds to the JVC remote code [0623] but the individual command buttons are scrambled and need to be programmed in-unless you have the remote w/ learning):

Finding the codes is not hard-just tedious.

could be the disk is dirty, you can try cleaning it. or it has too many scratches on it that makes it impossible for the lense to pickup what's on the disk. try another disk to eliminate that it is the disk problem, or the lens is going or gone.

Hello, I had the same problem and after spending a few hours reading and trying things, I found a solution. Its very simple. Power on your unit (manually) and then on your remote control push and hold at the same time"enter" and the number "1" while pointing directly to your unit and this should solve the problem. Good luck.
