How do you change the language from Japanese to english on my canon MP600 printer?

Try to download a japanese printer installer and install it to your computer. After add new printer in the printer and faxes.

My canon printer MP600 has changed the language from english to japanese how do I fix this

To change the language of the LCD on the printer, Press "Home" wait for 5 seconds then select the icon that looks like a pair of pliers and a screwdriver. Next, press the right arrow to select the icon that looks like a bar with three sliders on it. Press down four times, then press OK. This will bring up the menu to select the correct language. In Japanese, the word "English" looks like this ?? or ???.

My canon mp600 suddenly came up with the error 300 and the text on the printer screen is now in chineese instead of danish. What do I do?

I was replacing my surge suppressor and when I plugged my MP600 back in, all the menus are in Japanese. How do I get them back to English?

Goto the setup menu and select language.

My printer's language somehow got switched to something other than English (maybe Japanese) and I can't find how to get it back to English since I can't read what it is saying. Canon MP600 Pixma

Check the Canon website ... maybe even send them a request for e-mail support to resolve this.

Change language Japanese to English Canon MP600 printer

when ur give the order of printing. it shows various options related to ur print on screen such as font style,paper type ...
in those u can find ur language setting.Just change it toENGLISH.
if it doesnt work then reinstall the printer setup & that time choose the ENGLISH language.

Printer Canon MP600 turned Japanese!

There are language settings. Go to the main menu and rotate through to the pliers/screwdriver icon. (settings) Click the right button to select the icon with two sliding tabs. (device settings) Scroll down 4 selections to language selection. Select English.

Printer reset itself in Japanese

My Canon Mp600 has reset itself in Japanese about 4 times over the last 18months, so I now keep a set of instructions taped to the side of the printer. Switch on the printer and get it to the home setting by pressing the HOME button and press buttons as follows:
1. Press the RIGHT arrow on the central wheel until you get the SETTINGS option (spanner & screwdriver icon). Press OK.
2. Press the RIGHT arrow on the central wheel once to select the slider icon on the right hand side. Press OK.
3. Press the DOWN arrow on the central wheel FOUR times. Press OK.
4. Select ENGLISH from the list of languages. Press OK.
5. Attached these instructions to your printer so you have them to hand next time it goes Japanese!!

follow this link to the Canon icon, and enter your model number and operating system.

and make sure it's in English

Here's the procedure:

- Press the "HOME" button on the panel
- Scroll with the wheel to the screwdriver icon (settings) and select it with OK
- select the icon with two "sliders" pictured
- a menu will appear; Language Selection option is 6th from the top, scroll to it and select
- you should see the languages available now. Scroll to English and confirm

This is per manual. Should the 6th option not produce language selection (perhaps the internal menu is a newer version), press HOME again and restart, selecting, say, 5th or 7th option, until you find the languages choice; you can always escape a wrong choice by pressing HOME button.
