Question about Watches

1 Answer

I love my E. Howard radio controlled watch. I recently had the battery replaced by a local jewelry shop but it no longer keeps accurate time!It is about 55 minutes fast and remains that way. What do I do to get the right time? I miss my watch!! Thank you.

Mcdevito75 here, Return to the shop that changed the battery for adjustments, possibly a new battery or the factory recommended type battery.

when you have an expensive watch, take it to a jeweler or, to a pawn shop. Many pawn shops change batteries, and are cheaper than jewelers. Always ask for price first.

How do I adjust the time zone on my E.Howard atomic watch? The T2 button doesn't activate anything when it's pushed?

No, just set properly. This watch is very difficult to set. A watchmaker may be able to help you. The instructions are not very clear. You might try a watchmaker for assistance or try calling them although I have not had much luck along those lines.

Can you send me instructions on how to set the time and date on my boss's E. Howard & Co. accurate radio controlled watch? Thanks!

the maker claims setting to be automatic!

The signals for Casio watches are sent out during the night, so I would assume that your watch will be the same.

Do nothing and wait till tommorow!

If nothing happens, then go to http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/support/manuals.php and select the manual from the list.

I have a E. Howard Accurate Radio Controlled Time & Date watch and it has the wrong time. I would like to set it but I do not have the instruction.

Try the site below for instructions. However, after resetting my watch, with the same problem, it still is running 2 minutes slow.

My invicta 2093 watch keeps stopping

The 2093 is listed as a quartz watch and may need a new battery. Any watch shop or jewelry store should be able to replace the battery and caseback gasket for about $8. The gasket keeps water out and should not be reused.
