Panasonic DP 2500 photocopy machine from you a few months ago. I cleared a few paper jams and have not had a problem until now. The message on the machine says to ?close the ADF cover?. I do not know what cover that is and I have tried every cover and opening and can not get this message to stop. (U20)

I ran into the same problem with a client who had a Panasonic. Due to Panasonics withdrawl from the market, they junked the machine. I could find no valid cause for the error and did not have another ADF to put on it. If you can get into a diagnostics mode you may be able to test and find which sensor has failed.

How do I clear machine error code E04-01 on a Panasonic DP-3030 photocopier?

you have to program the paper size anytime you change the size of paper you use in a lot of panasonic machines. This is done through the
function" feature... go intofunction... general settings...scroll down to key operator mode...the code will be "00000000" (8- 0's) and it will be in one of the first screens up

means that the machine needs a good cleaning because it reached so many copies. has to be serviced by a dealer

means it has over or under heated, needs to be reset in srvice mode-lpb fuser reset before it will work, then may need lamp or thermostat.

Look for a small piece of paper remaining in the machine.
Also there may be a jam switch actuator that has fallen off.
