Hello,

  • All you need to do is start the browser, press Alt+V, this will show the view menu on your browser. Next, click on toolbars and then tick 'Menu Bar'. You are done.
  • To regain the status bar now click the view option from the menu bar and tick status bar.
In Mozilla Firefox, you can customize all the visual settings through the 'View' option in the menu bar. All the settings you make are saved in the user configuration files you may not be able to find even in a life time.
So, what ever you do has to be undone or all the configuration files along with the registry values have to be deleted. Well this is a mess. So, it is always easier to undo the settings.

Please let me know what happens.

Regards.

Push the alt key, this will enable you to see that menu long enough to click "view" and then select "Menu Bar" from the drop down list.

Alternatively, now that you know that ALT key will bring that menu back when you want it, you can probably just leave it off and enjoy the added page space. I do. :)
