Is there a way to get back my original homepage? I have an Acer and I was using the homepage that came with the package, with widgets etc. I clicked on a button and lost my homepage and I don't know how to retrieve it. Google comes up now which I don't want. Thanks

Widget have many meanings. Here widget is a small software program used for particular tasks such as showing time, date, solving puzzles etc.

There is no My computer icon in KDE.
On the task bar click the K with the Gear. Explore the Favorites menu. Make sure that the Dolphin file explorer is there. By clicking Dolphin your Home folder will open.
You can also add a widget on the desktop. Point to some empty space on the desktop. Right click the mouse button then select Add widgets. At the bottom of the screen some windows open. In the categories, look for file sytem. Choose and enter. A widget of your home will be displayed.

One advice. I think you should run the Synaptic Package. Manager to make sure you get all necessary packages for KDE. In the QuickFilter text area enter KDE. All packages that relate to KDE will be displayed. Explore to see if there is something you need that was not installed.
Select all the packages you want. Any package required for the one you selected will be chosen for installation.

You can restore the clock using the same procedure as putting any widget on your phone.

Go to the screen where you want the clock and then do a "long press" on an empty portion of the screen. Basically hold your finger on the screen for 3-5 seconds until the widget menu appears.

Open your widget bar by touching the "W". Once it's open, add all of your widgets to the home screen. Stack them from top of the screen down. that should allow you to scroll down to the one you can't get to otherwise. Now simply move that one up higher, then begin to put back the ones you don't want into your widget bar in order from bottom to top. Once you have them docked back where you want them, click the "X" to close the widget bar.

Problem should be solved.

Once you open up your browser go to the tools setting then once thats open go to internet options when that opens you will see a place where you can type in your new home page.erase everything in there and type www.google.com and at the bottom of the page there will be an APPLY button,click that then click OK.
