You need a replacement AC adapter, it's very cheap online.
1)Output Voltage is within +/- 5% of your old charger's output.
2) Output Current is the same or higher than that of your old charger.
3) Connector tip must fit securely into your laptop.
If it's new then take it back. Attempting to fix it may void the
warranty, so leave it alone. Tell them you suspect the power socket has
come loose from the mobo and you want a new one, not a repair. If off
warranty then wiggle the cord prong inside the socket while watching
your power indicator. If it goes on and off then the power socket is
bad. Have it fixed.

Check your DC Power Jack which is where the power cord plugs
into the computer is bad. Take an ink pen and push the tip inside the
jack and see if the little pin wiggles, if so the jack is bad. You'll have to
take the laptop apart to fix it. Most times it is soldered onto the
motherboard, so you will have to desolder the old and solder a new one.
