It may be that your memory is either loose or faulty. Try re-seating and if you have 2 in there try with only one. If you still have a problem replace with the other. Can you get into setup to see cmos setting etc?

Try to open the chassis and clean the CMOS. Then you can have another try.

SOURCE: remove bios password
There are lots of tools/software available to reset bios password. Just google for "reset bios password" and you will find one of them, else just open your back side of your notebook. Open the screws and remove the bios battery (a circular shaped sitll battery). If possible change the battery with a new one or keep that battery out of laptop for some time. Now start notebook without the battery and shut down. Then reinsert the battery to laptop and start again. The password should be resetted by this process.

In general, if you remove the battery in the notebook which holds the bios setting / password. This may clear the password & revert the bios to its default settings. If you have the manual the correct model number should be there.
emove the panel containing the power switch; the jumper (called J1) is located next to the plug for the status panel LCD. Briefly place on pins 1-2 about 10 seconds, then replace to pins 2-3. That's all, except closing up the machine again!
