I have a briggs & stratton model 1713437 type 0530-10 code 88050210
I dont have a spark at the spark plug
I have change the coil that didn't help.
The problem was caused by jump the battery to start it and the first tim I had the cable on wrong that what caused the problem
what do i need to changed to fix it.

You obviously damages an electrical component in the mix when you reversed current polarity. Get a hold of a schematic and check out what you may have damaged. If there is some sort of electronics that is a good place to start since you have no spark. I would check out the ignition circuit first.

Make sure the kill switch doesn't have a bad spot in ti allowing it to ground out. If that is working properly and not grounded when you squeeze the safety, you need to test and or replace the coil pack.

Your engine number should be something like this:
203432-0035-E1 or 203432-0535-E1
Make sure the engine is full of oil. The low oil level sensor will ground the spark if the oil is low. Also... if you suspect the low level sensor is bad .... disconnect ONE wilre from the low oil level sensor and check your spark with the ignition switch on. It has to be something simple like this.
