I have a new Poulan Pro Self-Propelled Lawn Mower Model: PR625Y22RP. The grass catching bag is attached the door is open but no grass is going into the bag. There is a plug on the base of the mower does it have to be removed for the mower to catch grass rather than mulch.

Poulan pro, right out ofr the box model pr625n21rh3 serial 012010m 004039. the problem is it won't cut the full width of the deck , have to overlap 3" to get full width cut????

This is a 21" mower, meaning the blade is 21" long (maybe only 20.5") and it will cut a 21" wide path of grass. Measure the width of the path that it cuts in the grass. If it is less than 21", then the mower has the wrong (too short) blade on it. It may just have a configuration of deck and wheels that make it look like it's not cutting as wide as it should.

Rear mounting grass catcher has space along bottom where all the grass gets out. Yes the side shooter is closed. Yes the top door over the catcher is closed. Yes, it's hooked onto the only place I can...

grass will build up over time on the underside of the deck possibly impairing the flow of the clippings. I use a flat screwdriver to scrape the big clumps of grass off the underside.

Where is the oil drain plug? I have a Poulan 600 pro self-propelled lawn mower and cannot find the oil drain plug to change the oil.

It is on the bottom of the engine. Lift up the deck and look under it. Make sure there's no grass covering it up.

My Poulan self propelled lawn mower model 961320048 is leaking oil from the bottom after use. I cannot find the oil drain plug to tighten it. Where is it located?

where is the oil on under there ??if it's on the shaft where the blade attaches the the oil seal is bad...that's caused by old oil, which is too thin and seeps out...try changing the oil first...

this will help...copy & paste...

Poulan Pro 22" does not mulch!

When you mulch you can only cut 1/3 of the grass off. If the grass is 3" high you can only cut 1" off.If you are cutting more grass of than you are leaving there is no place to hide the clippings.A general rule is if you notice clippings and clumps beginning to lay set the mower up one notch at a time until the clippings are hardly noticeable. If you like a real low cut then mulching is probably not for you,you will probably want to bag the grass instead.Hope this helps.
