Why is the wii telling check troubleshooting

Goggle wii with problem you are having and they will come up with several solutions to try. I did that then I printed up the problem and answer and any other comments they give and started my own manual. and I printed up a couple when people saw mine. JUST AN IDEA.

Check if the disk is scratched and if is a new game, make sure is the same region as your wii unless you want to softmodded to unlock region.

Thats what it sounds like, especially if all of a sudden just with the one game it won't work.

well some websites will sell you an instruction manual for $1-5 depending on the game, but there is a website called gamefly which sometimes has online versions of the manuals.

Try the following options.

1:) Soft Reset:- Press the reset button on the Wii console For 2 seconds.
2:) Hard Reset. :- Unplug The Wii Console For 5-10 Minutes. As once unplugged it resets itself.
3:) use a CD/DVD Based laser head cleaning disk, to remove any dirt/dust from the laser unit.

well I have 3 kids and let me tell you this I had this happen a few times to me and guess what it was? the kids put the disk into the unit the wrong way.

Also as far as your case if it is not working 100% then it could be the lazer is out of alignment as well which is fixable.
