I have a chipper and it started giving lot of problems 4 yrs ago, so I got this free Pdf manual from reliable-store for free and I don't think Ive visited a mechanic or fixya for help for more than 3-4 times out of the 20 times I fixed the chipper in these 4 years

Because of the engine size you give I would guess it is a Bolens made by MTD, there should be a tractor model tag under seat that if you enter that info into google or partstree.com it will tell you what model engine it was made with.
