Dehumidifer Runs but doesn't collect water

Hello,

I unit just stopped collecting water. It is probably only about 4-5 years old...is that the lifespan of this unit? Should we bury it and buy another?

Depends on he conditions of the water. These units are relatively inexpensive and typically do not justify the expense of repair. I'ld donate it to an air conditioning school and buy another one.

Dehumidifier runs but does not collect water

I have dehumidifier Whirlpoot Gold Model #39R171E Serial #H/XE11M1K 6203A it was working fine last year, but this year it is not collecting any water, it is running for day. I opened it, cleaned the filter (which was mostly clean) & it still has not water in bucket. What is wrong & is it possible to fix it by myself.

Unit Runs (fan and condenser) but no water?

By condenser I assume you mean the compressor is running. Is there ice forming on the front coil?

Everything works, but does not collect water

I have the same dehumidifer - make and model. I bought it less than a year ago. It too runs fine, but now collects no water. Did you ever discover how to fix the problem?
