Cooling Fan for Lamp 50V500A

I need to replce the cooling fan for my lamp. Where is it?
I have already replced the lamp which works fine for about 3 to 5 minutes. Until things heat up, then the tv shuts off and the lamp light blinks again. If I wait it will work again for another minute or two until it heats up again. I just want to replace the cooling fan. I have read that there are 2 but I do not want to dissasemble the wrong area of my tv. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I threw out my original lamp thinking there was something wrong with it and replaced it with a new one.

Why more vibrating laptop when replced new cooling fan to the laptop

If it's off balance or spins faster that's going to cause the laptop to "vibrate more", especially if the fan is working over-time to cool down the laptop.

My projector will go off after 5-10 minutes, started with longer periods like 30mins or more... Sometimes it worked without any problems. It has a new lamp on it and Im not sure what can be the problem?...

hi,
First of all check the lamp hour of your projector. Just reset it and try again. for resetting the lamp hour do the following.
1.Switch on the projector
2.select menu and the select lamp setting
3. In the lamp setting menu select lamp Reset and execute the same

After doing this if the problem remains then you have to check two things. first you have to check the lamp cooling fan of your projector. If the lamp cooling fan of your projector is faulty or it runs in a low speed this problem can occur. Another possibility is the faulty temperature sensor. you have to check the temperature sensor near the lamp. normally a senor with two wire fitted on the lamp Cage.
if fan is suspected then remove the fan and try to oil the fan and the re fix it and try again. for oiling the fan watch the following video.
The video is for oiling a pc fan you can follow the same to oil the lamp cooling fan

Sanyo Projector PLC XU83 lamp is replaced 1 everything is fine 2 projector turned on and reset the counter 3 projector switch off and normal 4 Next time imposible to power on the projector After ...

Check the cooling fans. If they are not rotating the Projector will not start.
Did the lamp explode? If it did a bit of glass has lodged in the cooling fan and stopped it from working.
Hope this helps.

Cooling fan won't turn off.

this set has more then one fan; one fan will run all the time to cool the digital circuit board---if it is the actual LAMP fan then you have a problem---the digital fan is very small and not located near the lamp.

Panasonic large screen Model # PT-61LCX65

Here is the proceedure to replace the lamp and reset the lamp hours.
Lamp Replacement Procedure:
1. Press the POWER button to turn off the power.
2. Wait for about 1 minute until the cooling fan stops.
Note:
The lamp cooling fan will continue to operate for about 1
minute after the power is turned off. Do not unplug the AC
Cord from the outlet until the fan has stopped. Avoid
interrupting the power by using circuit breakers or switchable
power strips.
3. After the cooling fan has stopped, unplug the AC Cord from
the outlet.
Note:
Please wait more than one hour before replacing the lamp.
[ Forced cooling function ]
If you need to replace the lamp more urgently:
- The Projection display has a forced cooling feature.
After the POWER button is turned OFF, and during the
first minute of the normal cooling fan operation, press
the VOLUME UP button on the unit and CH UP key on
the remote at the same time for more than 5 seconds.
The cooling fan operates for about 10 minutes. (LAMP
LED will flash 5 times every 5 second and POWER LED
will flash red for 10 minutes.)
4. Remove the Front Cover Unit from the latches.
5. Turn the Knob to the left.
6. Pull the Lamp Cover out.
7. Loosen the Screw on the Lamp. Then, pull the Lamp.
Note:
Because the Lamp may still be hot, use caution when
handling.
8. Install the new Lamp, and tighten the Screw.
9. Install the Lamp Cover, and turn the Knob to the right.
10. Install the Front Cover Unit.
Lamp Time Reset Procedure:
Be sure to reset the Lamp time to "0" after replacing the new
Lamp.
1. Plug in the AC Cord, and turn on the power by pressing the
POWER button.
2. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button on the unit and
the SPLIT key on the remote together for over 5 seconds
in power on condition.
When the reset is finished, the display will indicate that the lamp hrs have been reset to 0 and the LAMP LED goes out.

My Viewsonic PJ458D lamp not coming on

I have the same problem before. I found a replacement fan. A computer chassis fan works perfect. It should be 60mmx60mm - plenty in E-bay for about $5.00. Very easy to open the unit to replace the fan. It has 2 fans in a rubber housing. Check which one need replacement.
