We have streak on the stainless steel that won't come off. Tried different SS cleaners, including Twinkle recommended by the dealer we bought it from. We have other SS appliances in our kitchen and do not have this problem at all. What it is about Bosch SS that keeps stuburn streaks? Do you have any suggestions?

Have you tried Steel Meister? It is available at Home Depot, and it works on all my stainless appliances.

SOURCE: bad odor when open door after cycle

This is just a suggestion, run a cycle and after a few mins of it washing, open the door and add a cup of bleach and let the washer run. See if this helps.

SOURCE: My Bosch dishwasher is streaking

The problem is most likely that there is still water residue at the bottom of your machine. If the machine is not fully drained it picks up some of the residue and sprays that onto the dishes during the final rinse, leaving an unhealthy and unsightly film on everything.
Remove the bottom strainers and make sure that there is nothing obstructing the outlet pipe and the pump. If possible back flush through the outlet pipe and try draining the machine again before using it again.

Discolorations/stains on stainless steel refrigerator surface

Tried lots of suggestions to no avail. Tried a USED, dried out Scotch Brite Cook Top pad on the scrubber handle with Heavy Duty Fantastick sprayed on the pad. Scrubbed the drip marks at the bottom and wiped away to see if it was "scratching" or marri8ng the finish. Nope, but IT WAS taking the water marks off. So I did a bit more and checked again. Working great with no problems for the finish. Cleaned the whole watermark area. Rinsed of with wet cloth. Let it dry and then used my usual stainless cleaner, buffed to shine and walked away to post this. :> My refrig is an Aman too but I read other problem sites and it is common with stainless steel refrigs

Finish on "stainless steel" door is deteriorating

Refrigerator was sold as 'stainless steel', but is not, a magnet won't stick to it.
There are many different alloys that are called 'stainless' steel but all of them have some chrome, some nickel and some steel. Depending on the strength of the magnet and the specific alloy, it may or may not adhere. Generally, the higher chrome and nickel content, the less magnetic it will be.
I think that the brushed surface of your fridge was coated with a kind of clear-coat to prevent fingerprints from adhereing to the brushed surface and that clear-coat is now missing in the areas of concern.
The only cure for tha would be the wholesale removal of the doors and the remaining clear finish and then respraying it with a quality clear finsh.
Ain't progress grand?
We considered all stainless stuff for our new home a couple of years ago, decided we liked black better and now hate that too.

Streaky stainless appliances.

Hellocmmirabile,
Welcome to Fixya,

You asked, What do you use to clean stainless appliances so they won't streak?

At this site of our sponsor, they have a good stainless steel cleaner.

Stainless Steel Cleaner - 10 oz
P/N: 31462 Stainless Steel cleaner made by Whirlpool. Cleans and polishes stainless steel. Non abrasive and residue free. 10 oz bottle

I use a $1.00 bottle of alcohol from the dollar store,

What ever they have available and I do it twice.
Let me know how you do.

Spots on freezer door

Use a product like lime-away may help. These water spots are caused from calcium buildup. Lime-away or similar product will dissolve the calcium. Then use the stainless cleaner on it.
