You can buy the handle for 11.59 per side (left and right halves) you can buy them from: www.searspartsdirect.com They have substutited a new part (probably better one) You would have to decide if 25.00 is worth it to fix your saw. You could buy the part and fix it yourself. A new saw like this one is probably not more than 75.00

I cant get the blade to lower. Where is the release?

without a model number I am going to guess. Most circular saws have the blade depth adjustment towards the back of the handle and usually on the left side. If you need an owners manual you would need the correct model number and then go to managemyhome.com and you can probably find it there. If you want to reply to me with the model number I will find exactly where the release is for you.

My Craftsman 7&1/4 inch 12 amp Circular Saw(Model 315.108330) slips while cutting. The motor keeps spinning but the saw stops rotating. Can I Fix it?

Most circular 7-1/4 saws have a bolt and a compression washer that acts as a brake shoe that holds the blade secure but under dire circumstances will allow the blade to slip some rather than hold the motor shaft and allow burn out. The compression washer under your bolt has become worn and doesn't grip the blade securely. You can find a split washer that will fit under the blade and give you some more friction, or go to sears and order another compression washer for your saw.In the Sears Parts List found at: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Craftsman-Parts/Saw-Parts/Model-32018780/0247/0744410/50035950/00001?blt=06&prst=&shdMod=

Need a set of Brushes for a Craftsman circular saw model 315.27802 I tried Sears Parts and they are no longer available. Bill [email protected]

Try anyplace that handles electric motor repair or tool repair. Most brushes are standard and probably a set from a black and decker saw will fit

Need substitute switch part for sears saw

Sorry , but go buy a new saw. Your not going to find an aftermarket
dealer that carries this switch.

Trying to rig some other switch is not worth the trouble over buying a new one. If the switch is not available, then the saw is old.
