without a model number I am going to guess. Most circular saws have the blade depth adjustment towards the back of the handle and usually on the left side. If you need an owners manual you would need the correct model number and then go to managemyhome.com and you can probably find it there. Most circular 7-1/4 saws have a bolt and a compression washer that acts as a brake shoe that holds the blade secure but under dire circumstances will allow the blade to slip some rather than hold the motor shaft and allow burn out. The compression washer under your bolt has become worn and doesn't grip the blade securely. Try anyplace that handles electric motor repair or tool repair. Most brushes are standard and probably a set from a black and decker saw will fit

take it to Lowes or Home Depot and they have switches that will work. My Lowes Hardware Store even will take it out and put in replacement switch.

Sorry , but go buy a new saw. Your not going to find an aftermarket
dealer that carries this switch.

Trying to rig some other switch is not worth the trouble over buying a new one. If the switch is not available, then the saw is old.
