7815 and 7915 plus and minus regulators specifically. Diodes fr the 15 supplies are 1N4001 but you can use 1N4007 or anything in between.

Big power rectifiers are 2504's... which are probably 25 amp 400 volt modules.

My peavey amp pv 2600 only plays on channel A. No output on the B side

Hello,

Check the "BRIDGE" switch position, "IN" for "BRIDGE", "OUT" for "STEREO", and clean ALL back switches with a cleaning spray and then run the amp again, also check the two green lights activation at front, if they activate, then amp is certainly working, let me know further.

One chanel of my pv 2600 amp is playing very low

Hello,

Clean all back switches first of all, use a cleaning solution spray and give a 3 shot per switch, then push in-n-out several times each one and check amp functionality again.

Somthing burnt out, no power

Here is your service manual:

http://elektrotanya.com/peavey_pv-2600.pdf/download.html

Scroll down and find link on this page "Get Manual" and click on that. You can only download two manuals a day unless you are registered at the site.

Lots of luck on this one... there are 16 transistors per side that can all fry... Fail to weed out all the failed ones and it immediately blows again. Use a 150 Watt incandescent lamp in the hot side of the power input to act as a current limiting fuse while testing so you don't blow up more parts. When the unit is good to go, the lamp will go out when you power it on after briefly lighting. This is likely an expensive repair.

My 2 pv 2600 amps have the same problem.all toroidal transforsmers busted.no smell or signs of over heating or over used.i found a cut or open wire on the windings.what causes the cut or open to the...

Mis-handling is the usual cause of this. This can also occur if the clamps don't hold and the transformer slides around. OFTEN you can splice in a short piece of magnet wire to repair these. Splice and insulate well.

I have Peavey Pv 2600 Power Amplifier ,the B side did not work sound did not come

One side of the amp has failed and repair is NOT DIY. Take it in for servicing. This amp has many components in the power amp and repair is complicated. A failure can lead to 20 components being damaged. Failure to replace all damaged ones can result in immediate failure destroying the replaced ones.

I have a Peavey PV 2600 amp, when it is switched on only the fan works but nothing else. It is three or four years old and it was given to me by a friend, roughly how much would it cost to repair and get...

Either have it fixed or offer it up as broken at auction.

Estimating cost is near impossible, however labor could easily be aver $100.

The fan is controlled by a rather complex circuit depending on thermistor temp sensors. The temp sensors appear to also shutdown the amp.

If the fan comes on instantly, there MAY be a failure in this circuitry which is inexpensive parts...

Each side of the amp has 10 major power transistors and if all were blown it would add significant parts cost to the repair.

Peavey PV 2600 and PV 14 mixer blown out by hard lightening bolt. Totally fried. Is it feasible to repair them?

Man, that's a tough one. Best answer I can give, it depends. It would take a tech looking at it and making an evaluation. Sometimes it just takes out the front end (preamps), sometimes it's worse.

No output on the right side of the peavey 2600 amplifier but the right is ok

Each channel is protected separately. I suspect that the outputs are fried on the right side or the output fuse has blown. This should be checked by a service shop.
