When I start my SCX-4300 printer is ok but from scanner I can hear sound as ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta. It has duration about one minute than it stop and on display is writing "scanner error". The scanner does not ready does not work. What can I do with the problem?

Go to TECH mode, doing......(pressing the following keys in serial within 3 secs.)
MENU,copies,<,>,menu,>.
next place a white A4 size paper on platen glass.press MENU scroll to display TESTING press OK, scroll to display SHADING ADJUST press OK . a print out will come.
This will display the status of CIS. if RESULT is OK in the print, Printed at bottom of the page, the printer may work but prepare for the scanner cable (black ribbon type,visible under the platen glass has to be replaced).

you update wrong version. always take system data printout from "ready tech" and report menu.
there shows firmwire version.and after that you flash the exact crack firmwire.

a mecanic problem (noise) is give the error, so need to be opened and clean and lubricate the mechanics
