SOURCE: I pushed the on/off button on my whirlpool tub now stuck

The button is normally an air switch. It is attached to a hose that sends the air pressure from you pressing the switch to a pressure activated switch. This prevents you getting a shock since the wiring is at the motor.

First try using something that vibrates to free it up. Just make sure that it's not something that will scratch the button.

If that doesn't work you should have an access panel to the motor on your tub. Pull this off and look for a clear 1/4" poly tube going into an electrical device. Pull the tube off the pressure switch and blow into it to pop the air switch back up.

We turned on our soaker tub, ran it for a bit, then it wouldn't turn off. I then flipped the circuit breaker off and now the tub will not start when you push the start button. Model B950.

If the switch is an air type switch check the tubing connected from the switch the control for kinks or pinched spots. This could be the cause of the problem. Hope this helps.

My on off button quit working on my bath jacuzzi. I can go out to the garage and trip the breaker to turn it off and on. I used to be able to barely push it and it would come on or go off, now you can...

It sounds like you have a bad air switch located in your motor.
The air switch is what the air hose connects to on the back of the motor or on the box on top of the motor. The other end of the air hose is connected to the air button on the lip of the tub.
This is a latching air switch and when you push the air button it latches to send power to the motor. When the air button is pushed again it opens the latch in the air switch and stops power going to the motor shutting it off.

Were is the starter switch located on corner jacuzzi tub

Depends on the make of your bath, alot of baths has a crome button on the corner of the bath, flush with the bath top. When you press this it pushes air through a hose and the pressure of the air hits a pressure switch on the motor which turns on the motor.

Hi my name is taariq i need find a part for my tub i have a whirlpool tub and i have switch that turns on the pump and it has a ruber tube comeing from the pump and runs to a switch on my tub i got to push...

this is a common problem. it will either be the air button on the side of the tub or the air switch located in the back of the motor. take the tubing off the motor and use a straw to blow into the switch. If you can get the motor to turn on/off then you know you have a bad air button on the side of the tub. if it doesn't come on then you know the air switch is bad.

the air switch should be connected to a switch by the motor the air switch is ur on off and should run from the button to another switch by motor the air switches were put in so there was not live wiring by the tub surface ,the the tub button/switch is like a bellows and pushes air into tube to turn switch on/off

Jacuzzi whirlpool, air on/off button on tub

If it is a air button that pushes in and comes back up, there is a good chance that the switch (which is mounted on the pump/motor) is bad. If the switch is a touch button on a key pad, the problem is in the control box for the pump/motor.

Power switch for whirlpool tub

the easiest thing (maybe) is to install an air switch kit on the side of your tub. Here is a link to the part. Basically you install an air button on the side of the tub, install the air tubing from the nipple on the underside of the air button to the nipple on the box that plugs into an outlet under the tub. The pump plugs into that same box and the air tubing from the air button pushing onto the nipple on the box. When you push the button on the tub it will turn the pump on/off. Air Switch Kit
