We had this error when it asked is to remove the tray during the cleaning cycle. The fix was to just finish the cleaning cycle without the tray in and at the end the flap was back in place and we could fit the tray in again.

Had this a few times. Put the tray back, but without the grounds holder in place (the cup like piece). The machine will reset and then you can put the grounds holder back in.

C5 machine stuck and can't put drawer back in. i may have opened the draw during the shut off process

If the drawer is stuck and cannot be put back in then put everything back except for the coffee grind bucket. That works for me. Press the power button to switch it off and then back on again and you can removed the drawer and put the bucket part back in again.

How and were do you load the paper in the machine

there should be two flaps; the first one is the larger flap at the back, put the blank paper to print there. where the smaller flap is (the doucments go) in the front, When you get ready to fax the doucment. It all should come out into the tray at the bottom of the fax machine. Look under the front of the fax machine and you should see a round indentation, put your finger into that and pull the tray out..

I cannot open the #2 paper drawer

Look at the back of the printer.
There is a plastic flap that covers the rear of the paper tray. Lift the flap up, reach in and push the tray down. Now push it forward at the same time. The tray should come out. Normally, when you pull the tray out, the plate at the bottom lowers itself and allows the tray to come forward.

How do I load paper to print?

Hi mattside92

1) If the paper support flap is open, close it, and then pull the paper tray completely out of the machine. Lift the output paper tray cover.

2) Press and slide the paper side guides (1) and paper length guide (2) to fit the paper size.

3) Fan the stack of paper well to avoid paper jams and misfeeds.

4) Gently put the paper into the paper tray print side down and top edge first. Check that the paper is flat in the tray.

5) Gently adjust the paper side guides with both hands to the paper.
Make sure the paper side guides touch the sides of the paper.

Note
When you use Legal size paper, press
and hold the universal guide release
button as you slide out the front of the
paper tray.

Note
Be careful that you do not push the paper
in too far; it may lift at the back of the tray
and cause feed problems.

6) Close the output paper tray cover.

7) Slowly push the paper tray completely into the machine.

8) While holding the paper tray in place, pull out the paper support until it clicks and unfold the paper support flap

Good Luck, and don't forget to leave a rating

Thanks

Error code 8 appeared and now cannot get basket

The machine did not complete its cycle, either while finishing a brewing cycle or a cleaning cycle. This is caused because the motor is not strong enough and overheated. I think it is a design problem, but there is a "work-around" solution.
First, to put basket back, look inside opening. You will see a flap at the back of the opening. This flap is down and is what is preventing insertion of basket. Take only the grounds basket. Tilt the grounds basket and insert it so the back end of basket goes under the flap. Then level out the basket. Note the flap is now inside the back end of the grounds basket. Holding the basket up and level, re-insert the drip tray and the basket holder underneath the basket. These should now slip into place.
The "work-around" solution is to let the motor cool down. Unplug the machine for at least 30 minutes, then turn unit back on, and the cycle should complete because the motor is now cool.
I notice this error 8 happens mainly when the voltage from the Hydro Utility is low. This happens during peak electricity usage hours. So, to clean your machine, do it on the week-end during the daytime either mid-morning or mid-afternoon.

Good luck

Capresso C-1300 not working

You can re-attach this brown flap youself if machine is not still under warranty (that would void the warranty) or if the tabs or flap is not broken. I have had this machine apart and have taken off the brown flap which have tabs on the top and sides that fits on the front(facing you) of the press (looks like a big white cog inside a brown case( I have photos). The thing is, taking the case off. Screws with special tops that requires specialized tools for removel of case. My husband had to use pliers very carefully to get these out and he said he will put regular same size back in. If you want the manual or photos, let me know yor e-mail.

Cd Stuck

Look at the "door" or "flap" of the cd rom drive. You should see a small round hole. If you straighten out a paper clip and insert it in the hole, push in gently, that will open the door and eject the disk. Please rate this if it helped you.

Dell Printer 1720

This error is caused by the the flap on the right hand side of the output tray (the tray the paper feeds into once it has printed). It becomes stuck in the up position and sends a false positive error to the printer. One "work around" for this is to tape a quarter to the plastic flap. This keeps the flap in a down position, thus negating the false positive. The other option is to call dell laser printer tech support to get it fixed. <If it is still under warranty>
