It appears that there may be an issue with the speed and incline controls on your used Sole F85 treadmill. Based on the information provided, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Check the control panel connections: Ensure that all the cables and connectors between the control panel and the motor control board are securely plugged in. Loose or faulty connections could cause issues with the speed and incline controls.
2. Inspect the control panel buttons: Examine the buttons on the control panel to see if any are stuck or not functioning properly. Sometimes, debris or dirt can accumulate beneath the buttons, preventing them from working correctly. Gently clean the buttons and the surrounding area to remove any obstructions.
3. Test the speed and incline motors: The issue could be related to the motors responsible for adjusting the speed and incline. Test the motors individually by manually applying power to them while disconnected from the control panel. Observe if they respond correctly to the input. If the motors do not respond as expected, they may need to be replaced.
4. Examine the motor control board: Inspect the motor control board for any signs of damage, such as burnt components or loose connections. If you notice any issues, it may be necessary to replace the motor control board.
5. Seek professional assistance: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it is advisable to contact a professional technician with experience in treadmill repairs. They will have the expertise and specialized equipment to diagnose the problem accurately and recommend the appropriate course of action.
Since your treadmill is a used model and the control issue has persisted for some time, it is possible that the problem is more complex and requires professional attention. A technician will be able to provide you with a more precise diagnosis and help you determine the best solution to get your Sole F85 treadmill functioning properly again.
Remember to prioritize your safety when dealing with electrical equipment, and always disconnect the power source before attempting any repairs or inspections.
If your Kettler treadmill is not working correctly and you have to press Start and Speed + - to start, and it goes back to a pace of 6km/h after 30 seconds, there could be a few possible causes:
Check the control panel: Make sure that the control panel is functioning properly and that the buttons are not jammed or stuck.
Check the speed sensor: Make sure that the speed sensor is functioning properly and that it is not blocked or damaged.
Check the incline sensor: Make sure that the incline sensor is functioning properly and that it is not blocked or damaged.
Check the main board: Make sure that the main board is functioning properly and that it is not damaged or malfunctioning.

Check the remote control for its infra-red emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check by pressing all the buttons on it; and see whether all of it generates infrared signal while pressing. If it is found OK, check and replace the infrared sensor inside the TV. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It has details about how to check a remote control; by one among the post. Surf the site with patience. I will advice you try re-calibrate your treadmill, follow the procedure below to re-calibrate it,
Step 1
Stand on the side rails of the treadmill for safety purposes. Remove the safety key.
Step 2 Press and hold the two
incline buttons. The incline buttons are blue and on the left side of
the display. Hold the up and down button simultaneously. Release the
buttons when the display reads "Calibration." Step 3 Press the green start
button located either above or below the large, red stop button
(depending on your model). Stay on the side rails as the treadmill belt
begins to move. Both the speed and incline should go through their full
range from lowest to highest, and then back down again. Step 4 Repeat the process if the
display does not read "Calibration Successful."
i just called the manufacturer on this and found out i have a faulty control panel, but these are the steps they told me to go through to reset. If it works, then you are good, if not, you may also have a control panel issue. 1. plug in and turn on treadmill, keep red key out 2. press and hold the stop button and speed up button at the same time and hold them while you insert the red key 3. after red key is inserted, let go of both buttons **CAUTION - be sure to stand on side bars of treadmill, clear of the belt for this next part bc it will go VERY FAST*** 4. press stop button once 5. press speed up button until it reads 85 (see what i mean?!) 6. press stop button once 7. press incline down or up one time and it should get back into normal mode. mine just started a series of flashing lights and "8"s in all the "windows" so my panel needs to be replaced. here is the number i called - 1-877-993-7999. Good Luck!
I purchased a LAZBOY universal remote (at Fred Meyers, on sale for $9.99) and after a bunch of research and trial-&-error, was able
program it with a code (1629) which works reasonably well with the
Bose 3-2-1.
I don't have all the system-level functions (which I never utilized anyway) but do have all the basics as far as power, volume, source, and CD/DVD control.
The manual says to push the "keylock door" button 3 times within 10 seconds to unlock the functions of all the buttons so kids don't go round the kitchen playing with the icecubes when mommy is away. When do you do this, the red light meaning stop) goes out and the green light (meaning go) comes on. If you want to lock the functions again, press the same button 3 times within 10 seconds again.
