My laptop does not complete the whole screen, the screen is half, i have installed drivers but it has persisted

About Graphics and Video Card Drivers: Graphics and video Card Drivers serve as an interpreter between your Windows operating system and the Graphics and Video Card. In other words, these Drivers allow Windows to communicate with the Graphics and Video Card installed on your computer.
Most of the Graphics and Video Card Driver errors occur when the required Driver is missing, corrupt, or outdated.
Common Graphics and Video Card Driver problems: In case of a Graphics and Video Card Driver related error, your operating system will not be able to access or make best use of the functionality of your graphics or video card.

Below are the four most common Driver error codes and their meaning:

Error 1 - Reinstall the drivers for this device. (Code 18)
Meaning - The required driver is configured incorrectly or outdated.
Error 2 - This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)
Meaning - The required driver is configured incorrectly or is missing.
Error 3 - The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
Meaning - The required driver is not installed on your computer.
Error 4 - This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Meaning - Usually, this error means that the required driver is outdated.
How do I fix Graphics and Video Card Driver problems?

Roll back to the previously installed Driver

Device Manager, an inbuilt utility in Windows, allows you to troubleshoot common driver-related errors. For instance, you may sometimes start experiencing driver related problems after you have updated it. To resolve the issue, you can roll back to a previously installed driver. To do this in Windows 7/Vista, perform the following steps:
  1. - Open the Control Panel window and double-click Device Manager
  2. - Double-click Display Adapters to view all devices under it
  3. - Double-click the device that is causing the problem
  4. - Click the Driver tab
  5. - Click the Roll Back Driver button and follow the onscreen instructions

Scan your computer using a Driver Update Tool

While Windows does provide an interface through which users can fix driver-related errors, the fact is that all driver-related issues cannot be resolved efficiently via Device Manager. Another fact is that resolving driver issues manually is a tedious affair. Also, you need to be proficient with Windows to carry out such a task.
On the other hand, driver management tools present no such problems. With just a click of the mouse, a driver management program scans your entire computer, identifies all installed hardware devices, and updates drivers for the identified devices

Bccode 100000ea bcp1 8a8a8c70

This might indicate a hardware problem with the video adapter, or a faulty video driver.

Try reinstalling the video card drivers by doing the following:

1. Download Driver Cleaner Pro or Driver Sweeper (both have free versions; make sure the version will work with your OS) to your desktop screen and install.

2. Download the latest diver(s) for your video card but don't install them.

3. Uninstall your video card drivers and reboot your PC into Safe Mode. Run Driver Cleaner Pro or Driver Sweeper but ONLY for the video card drivers. I had someone use it on their chipset drivers! If it doesn't find any video card drivers that is quite okay.

4. Reboot and install new video card drivers.

Video problem

The problem may be with the video card driver software on your computer. If your video card came with your computer, visit the computer manufacturer's support website, type in your model number, and download and install the listed video drivers. If you purchased your video card separately or after you bought your computer, or if it is a custom build, go instead to the website of your video card's manufacturer and download and install the drivers specific to that card.

Sound but no picture [WINDOW7}

It is either a bad video driver or a bad video card. Sound has nothing to do with your video. Since a computer has a "sound card" and a driver for the sound card. I would reinstall your video driver. If you have access to another you can install the card there to see if you still have the same problem after you do a re-install of the "video driver". This should fix your problem. :)

Installing radeon x1650 video card I get spots on the screen

If you are experiencing "spots" on the screen, then there are two possibilities.  First, you may have improper drivers installed for your video card.  Please check the ATI website for the latest drivers for your video card.  If this does not correct the problem then it is quite possible that your adapter or the connection on the video card is physically damaged.  Try another adapter.  If this does not solve the problem I would recommend a new video card or having your current X series looked at by ATI.

Video card problem

Hi syaricky - First with your pc off, put your old card back in. Boot your pc and when Windows finds the card, just let it install whatever drivers it wants for the video card. It may ask you to choose the card or it may say it has found the most compatible driver for that card. That is ok. Then shut it down, and install your new card. When it boots and and says do you want it to install drivers say no. Then insert your cd and install. Once installed, go to your device manager and uninstall the old card. Start>right click my computer>properties>hardware>device manager>click on the + next to display adapters. Right click on your old video card and click on uninstall.
If this solves your problem PLEASE rate this as fixed. If not,DO NOT RATE YET. Let me know what happened. Just add a comment and I'll be happy to assist you further. Thanks. Let me know what happens.
