I have a LInksys WRT150N Router. The modem is bridged. The router is providing the static ip info. The facility has internet access. The facility has no inbound access to the router management interface or the applications running on hosts. I see no attempts to log in on the router logs.

SOURCE: Remote Access

IF you are getting public ip from your isp, please go to administrator tab of the router and first change the router's password which is on the top on same page in black dots,,type your new password by deleting old one and re-confirm it just below and save it..router will prompt for the new password just to let you know settings are saved now enable remote managment option on the same page and port is 8080(default, you can use your own port number) and save setting..now you are ready to access your router remotely for that note down the public ip you are getting on your router's status page and in remote location you need to type something like :- http://x.x.x.x:8080...x.x.x.x is your internet ip (public) and 8080 is port number for remote management.

For host applications need to know which application you are running according to that need to open port in the router using Port Forwarding feature of the router.

hey, you need to create bridge between your cable modem and router and you need to give one static IP in the router. kindly note you need to keep cable modem and router in the same class eg-( cable modem ip is 192.168.1.2 then router should be the same range.) and provide gateway of your ISP in the router.

Siemens S765IP w/ router linksys wrt150n

What VoIP provider are you using?

Try connecting router directly to the modem and the laptop to the router and see if your laptop can get out onto the internet. If you cannot, then your router might not be handing out IPs to the devices on the internal network. You can enable the DHCP server on the router using the administrative web interface at http://192.168.1.1.

If you can get out onto the internet with your laptop behind your router then look at defining a DHCP reservation on your router for your VoIP phone and then forwarding the following to your phone:
5061 UDP
5060 UDP
10000-20000 UDP

These are common ports amonst the VoIP providers.

Hope this works, if not we'll give it another shot.
