You have a bad control or line voltage not all the way there. Check and reset breakers. Check where it plugs in and check the voltage going to stove at cord if all checks good for 230volts. If all checks are good: replace electronic oven control, its about as tough as plugging in a pc phone modem just do one wire at a time so you don't get confused. Good luck.

No heat from burners or oven after relocating stove

Hi Ron - From what you have described if neither the burners nor oven turns on make sure the electrical connecting is 240V. The oven light and clock portions only required 115V. The clock and oven light working may indicate an electrical circuit breaker supplying the range is tripped or a fuse is blown. Confirm household circuit is correct and the range cord is properly wired to the terminal block.

We have a frigidaire self cleaning oven . It made a bang and now there there is no power to my oven. Clock does not work , Burners on stove still work.

According to your symptoms, it appears that you will need a new electronic oven control board. If nothing on the range heats, you could have a tripped breaker on the 120 volt L2 leg of 240 volt power. This would prevent the cook top burners and the oven elements from heating.

I have a kenmore electric stove. The top burner

I have the same problem, it turns out that the clock has a sensor in it to turn on the oven. If that sensor is not working, which is found in the clock, the oven does not work. I had a repair guy come out and it will cost 350.00 to repair. My stove is only six years old. It is only two months to the day off warranty. Apparently a power outage can cause the sensor to go. Hope this helps.

WE have a GE Stove top Range. The burners aren't

If you have power to the stove as in the oven light works and the clock works but the burners and oven will not work you only have 120 volts coming to the stove. The stove requires 240 volts for the burners and oven to work. Check the service panel for a blown fuse. There will be 2 fuses in the fuse holder. One of them is blown. If that is not the case then one of the wires has come loose either in the service panel or in the outlet behind the stove. Use a multimeter to check the input voltage at the outlet.

We have a Hotpoint RB787 Electric Kitchen Range. We experienced electrical issues/ power surge and now the oven part of the stove does not work. top still works and only indicators for the top burners...

you will need to replace the control board that contains the clock readout, any power surges ruins these electronics instantly, this can be replaced by removing the rear cover on the back of the unit and remove screws securing the electronic module
