All of sudden, my tv went blur.
I tried to manually adjust the convergence, but the blue crossed lines can't only be moved up but not be moved down to align the green & red crossed lines. Can it be fixed easily? If not, how much would it cast to fix it? Can expert from central NJ area tell me where to find a local tech to fix it?
I will have to wait till I have another person to get that front panel off but we actually saw that solution on another board (possibly this one) but he said that tv's didn't have knobs anymore. Even one from 2001...Is he crazy?

Give this a shot.. in the front of the tv when the access panel is off to where you can see the tubes. look off to the right and you will see a set of 6 small black knobs. The top knobs are for color the bottom knobs are BLUR.. turn those and see if they will help. ~Matt~
Blue convergence IC is bad! Blue CRT OK!
Required for repair---pull chassis,replace STK392-110 X 2.
Re-assemble,adjust convergence as needed.

Yes on the 57H82 model. On mine its the RED moves side to side only (can't move up and down) and the + (cross) some are on angles. Picture is blurred and words are doubled. Have called in for service. Try'd turning the "SIX" knobs to the bottom left N/G.
