I have Dish Network and remote #1 and 2...the TV for Remote #2 has now changed but the remote will not work...I replaced it with an Olevia Flat Screen (used one) 32in LCDHDTV Model 432-S12 but cannot access channels because it did not have a TV remote so the channels have to be changed manually but that doesnot work either....we hooked up the cable wire and nothing was happening...called techinical support from the Dish Network and the technician @Dish Networkk said I needed a code to access my TV...normally the old TV was set on channel 73 to view all channels but now I can't....what can I do, I need the code for the remote to this model TV...Please help...

2. Punch in a 3 digit code (provided below)
3. Press the # (POUND) button

With the remote of dish you will control the dish box. The tv control is only necesary to set the signal on channel 3 or Aux to get the signal from the dish box.

Now Your main remote will be dish remote control. Set your tv on channel 3, then turn on the dish box, and use normally.

Please follow the steps below to program your remote control to equipment other then your DISH receiver:
Note: If you start this procedure and at any time and do not press a button within 20 seconds, the remote will end the procedure automatically. Simply start over again. Use the TV button for your TV, the VCR button for your VCR or DVD player. These Mode buttons are located at the top of your remote control.
1. With the desired equipment on, press and hold the correct Mode button until all mode button backlights illuminate, then release. 
2. Press the numbers 5-0-0 on the remote control. 
3. Press the Pound (#) button on the remote. 
4. Press and hold the correct Mode button until all mode button backlights illuminate, then release. 
5. Press and release the Power button on the remote control. 
6. Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desired equipment. If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will power off. 
7. Press the Pound (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times. 
8. To verify the code works try several different functions for that equipment.

I purchased a universal remote URC-R6 from Best Buy that someone else had said worked for them. With a little work, I have programmed it to take the place of both my remotes. Seems to be working fine!

Go to Best Buy and buy the DirectTV Universal Remote Control ($20 and works with all cable and satellite services) Model RC64. It will control all the functions on the Olevia TV and Satellite box, except the A-B-C-D buttons for the User Guide.

The remote codes are:

well in most tv the dish remote control reconice the code automaticaly just press the tv button then press the power button and press de up arrow button (the one with the square over the select button) until the tv get off then press the # button to save the code try this.... good luck..and rate me
