K800i appears network problem, but network is fine
My phone intermittently doesn't allow me to text, receive texts or make calls, then suddenly it might work again for one minute or so. I have called the network and they say the network is fine, my mum's phone works fine with my sim card in it, but all my information is stored to phone not sim, so i don't have the numbers if I use the SIM in another phone.
Normally after a few hours or a day it might start working again, but this has now been happening for about 36 hours! Nightmare

As you said.... doesn't appear to be a cellular phone network problem.
Review all your settings
Return to the store you bought this from & ask for some help in setting it up.
It is likely that the phone has 'dropped off the network' or your message centre number has been accidentally changed.
The phone periodically sends a signal to the network to keep the network updated with its location. That way, when a call or text is made to your phone, the network knows which CELL to send the signal to (the last CELL place the phone was found in). If the network has not received a signal from the phone saying it is being turned off or has not managed to keep the network updated, the network will not deliver a text although this should not affect sending texts (in theory).
To get it working again, there are a few things to try:
1. Remove the battery without turning the phone off, remove the SIM and power up the phone. When the phone has started, turn it off, re-insert the SIM and start the phone.
2. Go into Network Settings and manually try to connect to another network and when it fails, set it back to automatic.
3. Temporarily put your SIM into another phone for a minute (you could get lots of texts coming in so read them before you put the SIM back into your phone.
Okay if you notice this happens to you Send yourself a picture message (Any Multimedia Message should work) and all of a
sudden you will start to receive all your texts messages like crazy lol. I like
to think of it as a clogged toliet and it needs the plunger to push all the
stuff through hehehe.
You need to get the Settings for Internet/Wap and MMS from your Network Service Provider. These settings are usually sent as a text msg. When you receive the msg. choose save or install on your phone. Or get the settings directly from their website. The MMS service doesn’t always work between networks.

Complain your cellular service company about it. It seems a network error not the error associated with your handset. Try out different sim card to check whether it send message or not Tell me again if doesn't work.
