There is no drain hole for water to drip outside.

drill hole in cabinet to let water drain but be careful of wherer u drill. 3/8 bit is big enough

Tip it outward so the concensate will tend to overflow outside. Be careful you dont drop it.

Typically, window AC will collect the water in a tray to help cool the bottom ocondenser and rely oin evaporation to get rid of the water. Sometimes, during high humidity, it doesn't evaporate quickly enough and will spill out of the pan.

You could drill a hole in the pan outside ... whicl will drain the water ... but reduce the efficciency.

Here is a thought, received by me from a AC mechanic recently. Window ACs no longer actually drain concensate. Rather, the water is caught in a pan with the idea it will evaporate back into the outside air. The reason for this is the dripping water frequently resulted in the growth of algae below the unit resulting is unsightly stains and sometimes, slippery conditions. Evidently, there were a lot of complaints about being 'dripped on' also. So, AC manufacturers don't put drain holes in the bottom any more. If the pan over fills, it will spill out of many makes. If you want yours to drain, put a hole in the bottom.

The unit needs to be tilled toword the outside. If it is level it will dip inside. There should be very little water inside.

There is already a hole just remove the ac unit from the window,and it`s shell,take it outside and use a water hose to clean it out,and remove anything on the inside that may stop up the drain hole.This needs to be done every year before spring or summer.If this was at all helpful,please rate,thank you.

I would make sure the 'drain hole' is clear and not stopped up. Sounds like it could be stopped up and you have so much water in the unit it's over-flowing and coming out inside the window.

p.s. one other thing - you might need to put another hole in the unit (to allow better draining). Typically these units just drip water outside and putting (with a drill) another hole in the bottom of the unit to allow better draining is easily done.

You need to clean out the drain pan.Also unit shold be tilted back a little so water will run outside.

Remove the front grill and using an old tooth brush clean out the bottom pan where water is laying.Also be sure the drian hole outside the unit is clear.

your drain hole on the ouside of your unit is plugged up, I always drill a couple extra 1/4" holes on the outside on the bottom to prevent that from happening, take caution when and if you drill your own extra drain holes not to go to deep and damage internal parts.

all air conditioners condense water .. the water is normally drained to the outside thru a hole near the outside bottom of the unit .. the unit has to be mounted so that it doesnt tilt inward .. the drain hole has to be cleaned once in a while ... if its clogged or if the unit is tilted inward then the water will drain inside the house .. less likely but possible is a cracked or damaged drip pan inside the unit ... thats a shallow pan under the condenser (cold) coil that captures the water and directs it toward the outside drain .. so check the tilt and clean the drain

there could be an obstruction in the bottom.remove it from the window and remove the case.check for anything obstructing water flow (condensation) to the outside.
