Have you made sure your graphics card has the newest drivers ? Part 1 and 2 could have been made quiet differently. Your ATI graphics card is having an issue or glitch with Syberia part 2.
1.Try updating latest drivers
2.Also search for a patch that microids may have come out with to fix this type of issue.

Its of because the invalid keys are in ur registry that interrupted ur game path that's y its gives this error use some registry cleaner like reg in out it will fix ur problem and ur games start working fine.

i have all the updates for my pc and ati graphics card still not working :(
after posting for help last night i stayed up until 4am this morning tring to figure out what to do so i can play part 2, first i used my jv16 powertool to fix any errors and compact the files. that didnt work,next i tried reinstall still nothing, next im going to try the patch i got if still nothing i have 1 more idea that may or may not work but it will cost me $$$$$ (less then what others would pay).
what a surprise to myself but strange, ok wait let me read the system requirements first:
requirements: windows xp (home/pro) pentuim 2, 350mhz or higher (pentuim 3, 800mhz recommended) 64 mb ram (128mb ram recommended) 4x dvd-rom drive or faster 700mb free hard disk space (2.6gb free hard disk recommended) 800x600 16-bit color display..etc...
ok this is what i see strange i had an idea to use my older pc (older pc running windows 2000)
see above in requirements? windows xp home or pro right?
well what a surprise to myself dont know how or why but it worked and i just finished part 2 of the game..ohh by the way older system has same ati graphics card as the one im useing now yep im using my windows xp professional now :)
just had to take out my dvd player and put back in older pc to install the game, aint that strange it worked in a windows 2000 pc
