Replace the main control board . Pt # WR55X10942 is the part number . The dispenser board has lost communication with the main board . The main control board is behind the refrig , behind the small 8X10 inch panel . There are 6-8 group plugs which will only fit in perspective plugins , so this board is easily replaceable . Cost of board is about $150.00 .

I had the same problem, and I replaced the board. Worked great! for a week. Now I have the same problem again. Was it a bad board or is something else wrong?

If the refrigerator water dispenser is not working the water supply tube in the door may be frozen. This will be difficult to track down. Look for a connection point at the bottom or top of the door, try removing the hose and blowing air through it and out the dispenser. Next it could be the water valve that sometimes has twin valves for ice and water combined, third is low pressure into the line (bad main valve) or clogged filter... you need about 20psi for function. Last is the door switch, when the freezer door is opened the freezer door switch does two things, it turns on the light in the freezer and turns off the ice and water dispenser. If the door switch fails the dispenser will not turn on. The switch can be checked for continuity with an Ohm meter. If it doesn't have continuity it should be replaced.

Ice and Water not dispensing. Light button not working

http://www.repairclinic.com/0100_1.asp
There's an ice- or water-dispensing problem The ice and water-dispensing system of your refrigerator is quite complex. Many components work together to provide the ice and water. Aside from a simple problem of a leaky water tube or a jammed ice chute, most other components are not user serviceable. We suggest that you contact a qualified appliance repair technician for such repairs.

No Ice is being made. Water is being despensed at the door but it seems that no water is going to the ice maker. Have good water flow to the pump.

Is the ice maker turned on?  The on/off switch is located on the top right side of the freezer compartment.  The manual says that there is a sensor beam that passes from one freezer wall to the other to shut off ice making when the bin is full.  Check to make sure nothing Is blocking that signal beam and that the bin is correctly installed.

Daewoo FRS-2031IAL instruction manual

Hold down the [ice make lock] and then the [lock] button simultaneously for 3 seconds. It took me a couple of attempts but I got there in the end (the manual mentions holding them down at the same time).

Ice maker working, but no water despensing

The water tube is frozen at a point about 2-4 inches from where it comes out of the door. GE has a heater kit available to repair this by calling GE Parts 1-800-626-2002 or online at www.geappliances.com. It is pretty easy to install but you might want to allow a GE factory technician to take care of it since it involves pulling the dispenser PC board off and changing a couple of wires around. No water thru door

I would try putting on the light at the dispenser. It worked for me but took almost 24 hours to work. I am now keeping the light on all the time. Simple solution to try. My ice was working when the water was not coming out.
