No, the 510 receiver does not have a UHF input. http://manuals.solidsignal.com/DVR510.pdf You can upgrade to a 512, 612, 625, but would need your installation upgraded to be compatable (Dish Pro to Dish Pro Plus).

You can use a universal remote to control any type of equipment you have including a DISH Network receiver. The part that is going to be difficult is find the proper code for the DISH Network receiver. We unfortunately do not have any codes that would work with universal remotes. Hello! My name is Becki Barned, and I am from Dish Network customer service. The problem that you are having is simple to fix. Although your remote works for the volume, and power, it is not working for the satellite. It does need to be reprogrammed. Just take it to tv1. With your tv1 remote, press the menu button twice. Then with the tv2 non-working remote, hold down the SAT button until all the mode lights light up at the top, then release. Then press the #9 on the remote keypad, then the pound (#) button, then record (above the number 3 on the keypad) 3 times. This should resolve your issue!!! Hey there! Becki Barned from Dish Network customer service here. The black borders are usually caused by watching standard definition programming on a high definition television. Try to change the format on your tv. Either by pressing the * button below the 7, or trying a format or display button on the original tv remote. Hope this helps!!!

I saw your post and I'm wondering if you are still having problems with the 322 receiver. Do you know the software version of the receiver? We do not require the phone line connection anymore. You can check the software version by pressing the menu button on your remote twice. The fifth line from the top will give you the software version. It should be L4.85. I hope this helps.

If you have a DVR you can put your recinver into single mode on the front of the rec and enable shared view, menu - 6-2. if you havea 322 syou will needa new rem. 4.0 for 322 tv 2

Make sure u use the other remote to turn it on. Check your LNBF for signal. Make sure your blue light is on, on the receiver itself. You cannot use the green button remote to turn the blue light ON??

only a uhf remote will work from that location, you will probably need to get a dish network 6.0 or 6.3 remote
