How do I get the dvd player to turn on since i have done almost everything?

My daughters princess dvd player will NOT turn on. I have pushed the button to switch to go to video 1 or 2 and the power button stays red and push the eject button and it wont open. It does change to video 1 or 2 but the dvd player does not turn on.

Have you tried connecting your dvd player to another t.v. to find out if it works on another t.v. You may have a problem with the princess t.v. We have had the same problem with a Dora t.v. We hooked our v-smile up to another t.v. and it worked like a champ.

Also make sure you have yellow hooked up to video output and red and/or white hooked to sound output.

Disney princess DVD player won't work at all anymore.

These DVD players are garbage. I bought one for my daughter and we've had nothing but problems with it. We finally hooked up another DVD player for her because I got tired of trying to make the dumb thing work. I haven't heard of anyone that's been happy with one of these players. Disney should refund everyone who has bought one of these there money back!

DVD Player Freezes movie. Becomes unresponsive.

Have you or your daughter ever cleaned it?? The scan head is most likely dirty, there are special cd's to clean DVD's /CD players. Also, you may want to buy something to clen the CD's while your at it.

Disney Princess dvd player will NOT turn on or eject.

On front of television is the video, left and right audio plug ins. This is where you will plug the adapters from your dvd player. They are color coded for easy installation. Step2Make sure the adapter is also plugged in to back of dvd player. Step3Plug dvd player into power source and turn on. Step4On the front of television there is a tv/av button. Press this button twice or until it says video 2 in upper left hand corner of television. Step5Insert movie into dvd player and enjoy. To get your tv back to cable press tv/av button once.
