After resetting the clock it keeps going to military time. We want stardard time.

It reading 24 hour days, you have to go into the settings and start again resetting dates, time, then select 12 or 24 hour days.

you have it set on 24 hour time instead of 12 hour time
it will change over at midnight to military time as that is when the 24 hour period ( military time ) starts

Hit Mode 3 times to set the time
Hit Reset/TimeSet twice to make hours flash
Now keep hitting StartStop/Adjust repeatedly. After you go through 12 hours of AM then 12 hours of PM it will start going through the hours in military time.

What make and model clock?

You can reset the time from military to regular time by holding down the time button and let it cycle to the normal time. I hope this information help you with your problem.

Disable the "Automatic update" feature and set the clock manually.
To do this go to Menu, settings, initial setup, time and date, Autoupdate>Off, then set the clock and date.
