I "think" I have downloaded and paid for a book on my e-reader. Problem: i bought directly from Sony in Dec. And cannot find the instruction book. About a month ago I found instructions online but cannot locate this again. i have no idea how to make the book come up and to read. Do you have the site address for instructions? Thanks

Your e reader, unlike the computer, does not have the software to play it back. Needs to be updated so it can also play it back. There is nothing wrong with your reader.

I have downloaded some books to my computer,but they are not transferring to my Sony e reader - please help, I'm desperate!

did you use the usb to recharge it? maybe you've connected the usb to the ebook but it didn't recharge. The battery will drain if you just connect it to the computer but didn't recharge (bad contact between the book and usb, mine does that). try to recharge it, make sure the light beside the on/off button is on (red), let it sit for few hours that it should be fine

After saving the "Reader Library Installer" file on the Computer, doble click on the file to start installing. Please follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.. Good Luck! !

3. Now transferring the books to the Reader:

In the eBook Library Software, select the "Library" view - this is where you can see all imported files and purchased eBooks.

Click on one, or several, titles and drag the files from your Library onto your Reader Digital Book (the Status symbol will start spinning for the duration of the transfer).
Once the Status symbol comes to a halt, the transfer is finished.
Still within the eBook Library Software, select your Reader Digital Book to verify that the file(s) are on the device.
If there are titles you purchased that are not in your Library, click here for directions to download these books from your account section.

Perform a soft reset. to soft reset press the RESET button using a sharp-pointed object. that should resolve the issue... best of luck..
