Hi,
When it doesn't heat up,
We have a Frigidaire Range model PLEF398CCC and, as many others here
have mentioned, we saw the puff of smoke and the oven nor the front left
burner works. The repairman has to replace a EOC on the back of the
control panel and another one in the back on the bottom. The total cost
for parts alone is $438 then add in the service call cost. THIS IS THE
SECOND TIME we've had an EOC go bad for big bucks. The unit is about 5
years old. We're thinking of filling the landfill with it.
Use this for troublshooting:

another testimony to help,
Had the same problem. This solved it for me:

Take care.
There is no smoke. Nothing happens on stovetop as opposed to the smoke mentioned in the solution. This is a new range.
Hi, would like to give to you a suggestion.Instead buying a newly bought oven and you've not used it or used it for too long and now you have started having complain,Don't you think it will be better, if it is if you take it back to where to bought it from? Am sure there is a guarantee on it? right.
When you start spending money after buying what you have not really enjoyed with more expenses, men that is of disadvantage to you. Think about it and make your suggestion on what next to do.
Take care.

Hello arab125 - I understand that the timer and clock works fine, however from what you have described it sounds like the range could possibly have a wiring failure, faulty sensor, or an issue with the EOC. I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately.
