First off...your crib is in the recall and you need to get a kit for it.

You just take off the rail and Tada! it's a Toddler bed.
Then you can change from elmo sheets to Pokemon sheets and Tada! it's a Day/Bed. I don't know how they get away with advertising it as a 4-in-1 since there is no material difference between the daybed and the toddler bed.

How do you change the graco 5 in 1 convertable lillian crib into a toddler bed?

It is very simple to convert a crib to a toddlers bed. You just need to remove the side railings by folding them under the bed. It would be automatically converted to a bed that a toddler can use

My wife and I bought this same crib. We thought the same as well. We looked everywhere for the instructions- so we thought. We finally found someone to call and ask for help and she told us to

" Look in the box that has the mattress springs in them. The instructions are normally attached to them."

As I was on the phone with the lady helping us, I opened the spring box and there they were attached to it inside a white envelope.

Need instructions converting crib to toddler bed

I have all the instructions posted in an album on photobucket.com. In the site only search field (not the web search) type emilykenepp and change the search criteria from images to people. This should bring you to my profile- under my albums I have an album titled Graco Lauren Crib Assembly Instructions. Click on that and you should be good to go! Pages 10 and 11 are for the conversions. Also, for any further assistance, the customer service number for LaJobi (the people who actually manufacture the crib for Graco) is 1-888-266-2848 and for Graco it's 1-800-345-4109. Hope this helps!

Graco lauren crib conversion instructions

I have posted the instructions in an album on photobucket. I believe you can print them from there. To get to them, go to photobucket.com and in the website only search field (not the web search) type emilykenepp and change the search from images to people. YOu just saved the day!!! I couldn't find this even on the Gracobaby site. I bought this used and watched the guy take it apart but forgot how to put it back together. Thank you so much :)
