Breaker box clicks on then air conditioner still running but warm

Breaker box clicks on then air becomes warm. I have tried everything. It seems as though when I change the temperature on the thermostat then the breaker clicks on. I thought at first I may have needed some freon, not the case. Electrician came, breaker is good. Put in a new capacitor, same thing happened. Breaker box clicked, warm air. I want to know if the inside thermostat have anything to do with the breaker and then the arm air.

When you say breaker box clicks and then warm air, are you referring to the actual breaker switch in your power panel, or clicking at your ceiling assembly? When the breaker trips, the air conditioner should shut down completely, is that what happens? The compressor kicking in and out could cause circuit breaker to trip. Did the electrician record incoming voltage supply, and what was it ? 115 volts?

My wall air conditioner will run for about 10 minutes and then shut off and shut off electricity to everything on that circuit.

You may be over loading the circuit. Try only running the AC then see if it runns longer turn everything else off on the circuit. most window AC need a 20 amp breaker. If you have had it on the circuit for a long time without any problem you may have been at the limit of the breaker and it is going bad. If you are overloading the line one way to tell if the unit runs long enough 30 min or more the cord on the unit will get warm or the faceplate of the plug in will get warm also look at the cords end where it plugs into the outlet is it melted or blackened ect obviouse signs of overheating. I always recomend a dedicated line for AC. Hope this helps good luck and be careful with the electricity.

Outside unit trips the circuit breaker

seems that if it runs for 5 minutes there shouldnt be any shorted wires I would say your breaker needs replaced

Where is the fuse located in the air conditioner

Is this a split system? If it is then the fuse or breaker is in the disconnect box on the wall by the outside unit. You will see a grey flex conduit running from the unit to the box which is grey, it carries your 230 volt wires. Inside that box will either be fuses or a breaker.
If it's a window unit then it will be the breaker that supplies the power to that outlet.

My Carrier AC fan will not turn, only blows out warm air.

Breaker has popped either at breaker box or at the safety shut off switch. Fuses are blown or the sending unit has popped.

Air conditioner will trip breaker when trying to cycle back on

The compressor motor , once warm is grounding out due to wear and is going bad.Have the compressor replace while it is still clean is cheeper and easier that doing it after a burn out, which  will eventually happen,if the compressor is tripping the brreaker as I suspect..
