Clean the screen with a clean soft cotton cloth is the step #1

Step 2:
SEE FULL instruction HERE

Calibrate the touch screen
The command buttons and fields are displayed on the screen image at specific pixel points. To initiate a response, the touch screen interface needs to recognize exactly where a fingertip or pen touches the screen relative to the pixel position of the display. Each user has a slightly different hand-eye coordination response. Calibrating the touch screen allows the interface to compensate between where the program is expecting a touch and where the touch actually occurs. To calibrate the touch screen, place the tablet notebook in the desired orientation and do the following actions.

  1. Click or tap Start > Control Panel > Tablet PC Settings to open the Table PC Settings window.
  2. On the General tab, select the option to display the menus in either the Right-handed or Left-handed position.
  3. On the General tab, select the desired screen orientation from the drop-down menu, and click or tap Calibrate . Follow the instruction to touch the screen at the specified points. Repeat this calibration action for all four of the screen orientations, then click or tap Apply .
  4. On the Handwriting Recognition tab, select the Use the handwriting personalization option.
  5. At a later time, you can return to review the Go to Pen and Input Devices and Go to Input Panel Settings options to make using the touch screen to control programs and input text easier and more accurate.

HP TX1000 Tablet The cursor on my screen keeps going to the bottom left hand corner and stays there. The problem remains even when I used a USB mouse. Anyone knows what the cause?

click start button in lower left hand corner, then a pop out menu will come up, click control panel, then find mouse, click it, then go to pointer options and click it, see if theres a box checked that says something like (automatically move pointer to the default button in a dialog box). uncheck that box......hope this helps you.......

Cursor jumps when typing

since you laptop mouse is touchpad. when you starts typing, your finger(hands) touches the touchpad which throw the cursor away. Make sure, while typing your hands does not touch the touchpad of the laptop.

Asus notebook K501J Model. A blue wall at bottom of screen, about two inches high screen' .I cannot remove same. Also I cannot get the task at bottom of screen,

Try this:
Place your cursor at the top of the wide blue band. See if the cursor arrow changes to a 2-sided arrow. If if does, hold down the left button and move the cursor down until the screen is again normal.
Basically what you have done is to take part of the window and increase the size of the bar. This actually should be the taskbar, but it's way too large.

HP Pavilion dv6337us screen problem

Place you cursor on a blank spot on the black area, Hold the left mouse/touchpad button down and drag it back down to the bottom of the screen. That should get you back to where you want things to be.
If that fixes it, please return here to rank this as solved. If it doesn't, let me know and we'll see what else we can come up with. ;o)

sounds like you have the wrong monitor drivers installed,  download updated monitor drivers from the manufacturer's website,

also check your display settings,  as something is really wrong there.
