I have Motorola EM330 phone and cannot extract about 500 contacts(accumulated over about 10 years). I am desperate to talk with someone who can walk through the process on their phone while I follow. Reasons:
1. The screen is completely detatched from the keypad at the hinge. It still powers up and I am able to key in commands but I have no visibility of the result of the keys I press.
2. I downloaded the manual and followed the instructions but I believe having more than the 330ish contacts that the SIM card can hold creates extra steps in the process that are not outlined in the manual.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!! ANYONE USA 734-233-5362
This is something that you will not be able to do on your own. If you go to your cell phone provider's store, they will be able to help you with the contact recovery for a small fee. I know Verizon stores charge $35-$50 for this service. If you happen to have a backup program on your phone (like Verizon has one), you can transfer the information to a different phone, but only if you activated the service ahead of time. Good luck to you!

SOURCE: Have broken the screen on my motorola V360v. Need help
Wish I had one of those lying around. Best I could say would be to Look
on page 6 of the V360
Manual. If you can get into the Settings Menu then you just need to
go down 2 and select and then down 1 and select and you'll be in the
USB settings menu. If you remember how to get in the Main menu, it's
usually down one and right one to the settings menu.
The phone is also supported by the Motorola Phone Tools program.. There is an option to transfer your phone book to another phone on the Motorola Phone Tools Welcome Screen. (I think it just takes a couple of clicks with your mouse to get r' done.
Go to this website and sign up. (Easy as 1-2-3) Oncy you verify your email address, log in to the site and you will be automatically directed to the Motorola Phone Tools Download page where you can download the program for free. You'll need a Windows PC, a data cable (you may be able to use Bluetooth) and you'll also need to download and install the USB Windows drivers as well. Here's the link:
